The drill was run by Asst. Chief Kevin Robinson.
During any building fire ventilation is crucial so that the smoke and heat leaves the building in a vertical fashion, thus making the job easier for the interior hose crew who are searching for the seat of the fire. In this scenario crews are working off of the main aerial ladder, simulating a roof that would not be stable to stand on.
Our drill nights are held on every Monday night, with the exception of the second Monday of the month. Come up and check us out, we welcome new members anytime!
