Yesterday, February 13, 2026 was a day we’ll refer to as “South Newtown Street Day”. There were 4 calls for service and all of them were on, you guessed it, South Newtown Street Road! At 1136am the company responded to 202 S. Newtown Street Road for a fire alarm in the shopping center. At 2:57 pm the same alarm was received and investigated again. At 7:09 pm the company responded to 191 S. Newtown Street Road, Teca Restaurant, for a fire alarm. The company was called back to Teca at 8:46 pm for the same alarm. We’re thankful all of these alarms were faulty and there was no fire.
