Last night, Ladder and Engine 41 with Assistant Chief Mike Kenny, responded with other mutual aid companies to Marple Township to assist the Broomall Fire Company with a reported building fire with entrapment at the Brighton Village complex off Lawrence Road.

The first arriving engine from Broomall Fire Company found a small kitchen fire, which was quickly extinguished. Ladder 41 and Ladder 35 from Brookline Fire Company provided truck company support. Additional units assisted with searches and overhaul. No residents were home, and no injuries were reported.

Other assisting companies included Brookline, Manoa and Garrettford-Drexel Hill Fire Companies and Marple Township Ambulance Corps.
