The date was June 4th, the events were 50 years apart. June 4, 1966, the 50th Anniversary of the Newtown Square Fire Company, and the dedication for the new building. June 4, 2016, the 100th Anniversary of the fire company and the parade ended at location of the yet to be built “newer” fire house.

Attending BOTH parades were Danny Cosfol, Charlie Nicholas, Robert Allison, Doug Conway, and Carl Ewing. Doug Conway and Carl Ewing are both still active members. The fire company is made of resolute individuals who gave to both the community and the fire house. Carl Ewing just received his 60-year membership award, Doug has been with the fire company for 63 years.
