Accident at Goshen Road & Route 252

The fire company responded to a 2 vehicle accident at Goshen Road and Route 252 during rush hour. There was heavy entrapment requiring extrication of a patient in the one SUV. The crews called for a helicopter due to the injuries and time to free the patient from the vehicle. EMS at the accident was provided by Riddle Paramedics along with Berwyn Fire Company. Broomall Fire Company was dispatched for an engine to stand by at the landing zone at the helipad at SAP. Pennstar was the Medevac who flew the patient to Penn Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia for further treatment.
