FireCompany responds to a tree into a house

At 1447 hours The Newtown Square Fire Company was dispatched and responded to a tree into a house on Goshen Road. Assistant Chief Rich Heffernan arrived on location along with Engine 41. Fortunately, all the occupants were out of the residence. Ladder 41 arrived on location and Assistant Chief Heffernan requested salvage tarps be placed over the area where the tree had fallen through the house to prevent further damage to the contents of the home from the rain. As of 1510 hours this was the seventh of eight emergencies the Fire Company had responded to.
