| As part of the requirements to earn the Liberty In Action 250th Anniversary Challenge, the Cub Scouts of Newtown Square Pack 315 helped a non-profit in their community. While visiting Philadelphia and “talking” with Ben Franklin, they found out that Ben Franklin started the first volunteer fire company.
With that knowledge the scouts decided that the non-profit they would help would be the Newtown Square Fire Company. In June they held a car wash to benefit the Newtown Square Fire Company. This morning at their Open House and Pancake Breakfast Cubmaster CJ Stephano presented the check to Preston Tyrrell of the Newtown Square Fire Company. |
