Each week, we want to take some time to recognize our volunteers who dedicate their time to the Newtown Square Fire Company.
Next up- Colleen Welsh
Colleen joined as an Auxiliary member in 2001. She decided to volunteer when her sister Tara, who is also a member, encouraged her to join.
Outside of the fire company, Colleen is a medical consultant for local company Boiron. She has 3 sons, 2 grandchildren and an amazing boyfriend.
Colleens favorite fire house memories are all of the past Flea Markets.
For anyone considering joining, she says βItβs a great way to serve the community and a volunteer organization.β
