| These fires bring many challenges and require lots of personnel to accomplish the mission, hence the reason you will see many assisting companies on scene for a real emergency. Crews also practiced connecting to the standpipes that supply water to all floors of the building. Firefighters typically connect one floor below the fire and advance the hose up one flight.
The fire company would like to thank the building managers/ owners that allowed us to use their buildings for our drill night. Being familiar with the buildings in our town is invaluable and can save time and lives in a real emergency! |
