| It all started just before midnight at 11:57pm when the company was dispatched for a fire alarm at the Storage King in Edgmont Township. The alarm was false, but the company would be called back into Edgmont Township once again at 2:18 am for an accident with entrapment and wires down. This incident was located in the 4900 block of West Chester Pike. (Pictures posted below). While responding to the scene units were advised there was an electrocution patient on scene due to the downed wires and told to use caution upon arrival. As a result, 2 ambulances were called to the scene, one taking the burn victim to Paoli Hospital. To finish out the busy night the fire company was dispatched to the Starbucks, 3512 West Chester Pike for a Carbon Monoxide alarm at 4:42am. After handling the incident I’m sure the firefighters were eyeing a nice hot cup of coffee after such an exhaustive night! |
