| Tonight’s drill was put on by Assistant Fire Chief Kevin Robinson and had firefighters practicing their skills/knowledge of fighting fires in single family homes and larger buildings. As the fire engine “arrived” on scene there was a simulation of the fire projected on the wall so each firefighter could make a size-up of the fire building and plan their attack accordingly. Just like pilots use simulators to enhance their skills, firefighters can also use the simulator to learn valuable lessons and sharpen their skills! If you would like to be a part of our team, just stop by the firehouse! Drill night is every first and third Monday of the month at 7pm. |
