February 7, 2026 0951am You may have heard the sirens not long ago as multiple fire companies raced to a house fire in Marple Township

The house was located on the corner of Parkway Boulevard and Concord Road. Marple Police arrived quickly and reported the rear deck of the home was on fire and they were evacuating the homeowner.
Fire crews, including an engine and ladder truck from Newtown Square, arrived and went to work extinguishing the fire. Because of the fast response and quick action taken, fire damage was contained to the rear of the home.
