| Always training. Members of the Newtown Square Fire Company spent Monday night’s drill practicing search and rescue skills and victim extrication.
Fire Chief Chris Young, and Deputy Chief, Mike Kenny reviewed the steps in gaining access through a window, performing a search, and the ever-important steps in rescuing a victim from a fire.
Crews practiced entering and exiting from a window as well as victim removal via a window opening.
Remember this weekend is daylight saving time, and the weekend to check and replace your smoke detector batteries. |
