This week's Throwback Thursday takes us to February 1989 at the intersection of West Chester Pike and St Albans Ave for a Motor Vehicle Accident.

Wet Roads likely contributed to this MVA in front of what used to the Roy Rogers Restaurant.

Medical staff from Newtown Square Fire Ambulance can be seen in the car providing first aid while a Fire Fighter offers assistance. The other car is being towed away by Reardon’s Exxon. Newtown Police Officer Tim Welch can be seen between the cars, while Assistant Chief Steve Sangiorgio makes his way around the accident scene.

The Newtown Square Fire Company has been an important member of this community for the last 108 year thanks to many community members who donated both time as a volunteer or financial support.
