Squad goes to Lower Chi |

At 0816 hours, the Newtown Square Fire Company was alerted for Squad 41 to transfer to Company 39 (Lower Chichester Fire Company) while they were handling a 1st Due working house fire on Ridge Road. Prior to responding, Squad 41 was diverted to the fire scene for additional manpower. Upon arrival, the Squad crew reported to front of the fire building to await an assignment. The crew was then sent to the interior of the exposure house and pulled ceilings in an attempt to expose any hidden fire. Squad 41 was released by Command and was back in Newtown Square by 1000 hours. Traffic 41 was also alerted to assist with traffic control and was back in station at 1315 hours. |
