Just before 5 am today, the Newtown Square Fire Company was dispatched for a trash truck fire behind the Whole Foods on West Chester Pike. Fortunately the driver noticed the burning cardboard and called for assistance. The smoldering trash was extinguished and the truck was able to continue on his route.
