| A busy Monday today for the volunteers. The day started with a dispatch for a building fire at the Newtown Business Center requiring aid from our neighboring companies. It was determined to be mechanical in nature and the building was ventilated. The crew headed out for fire prevention at the Malvern School late morning, only to be sent to an accident after lunch at W. Chester Pike and Boot Road. One person was injured and transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital for evaluation. Dinnertime brought another call on Chapel Road for smoke in the building which was investigated, ventilated and cleared. Finally, Monday night drill was vehicle rescue with donated cars. |
